At Alpha Zeta Sigma Nu Sorority, Inc., we believe that one book has the power to change a life.
It is with great pride and heartfelt gratitude that we honor the legacy of the late Erwin Morris, a distinguished attorney, devoted community servant, and passionate advocate for literacy.
Mr. Morris believed that reading was more than a skill—it was a gateway to opportunity, confidence, imagination, and lifelong success. Through his love of reading with young children, he demonstrated that investing time in a child's education is one of the greatest gifts we can give.
In his honor, Alpha Zeta Sigma Nu Sorority, Inc. proudly establishes The Erwin Morris Literacy Weekend as our signature annual literacy initiative.
Each year, our members will unite to promote literacy through:

📚 School and library partnerships
📚 Family literacy activities
📚 Donations of books and educational resources
Together, we will continue his legacy by encouraging a love of reading, supporting lifelong learning, and creating brighter futures for generations to come.
