As Recruitment Director, I am passionate about connecting women and creating meaningful opportunities for sisterhood, service, and personal growth. I am a devoted Christian, wife, and mother who believes that faith, family, and community are the foundation of a purposeful life. Professionally, I serve as an Administrative Specialist, where I utilize organization, communication, and leadership skills to support teams and achieve goals efficiently. I am committed to fostering a welcoming environment where every woman feels valued, respected, and empowered to contribute her unique gifts. My heart for service and relationship-building fuels my dedication to helping others find connection and belonging. I believe that strong organizations are built on authentic relationships, shared values, and a commitment to uplifting one another. Through recruitment, I strive to identify and engage women who are passionate about making a positive impact in their communities. My name is Lydia, and I serve as the Director of Events and Programs. In this role, I help plan, organize, and execute our events and initiatives while ensuring they align with our mission and foster connection, growth, and community within AZEN.

One thing that is very important to me is making sure everyone feels welcomed, comfortable, and that they truly belong. Sisterhood, to me, means being there for one another, supporting each other through life’s ups and downs, and creating a space where everyone feels valued and accepted.

I am the proud mother of two wonderful children who have grown into respectful and caring individuals. I am also a grandmother to three beautiful grandsons who bring so much joy to my life. I was blessed to be raised by an amazing mother, and although I am a widow, that experience helped shape me into the strong woman I am today. I am forever grateful for the love and lessons my husband and family have given me.

In my free time, I enjoy baking, cooking, arranging flowers, decorating my home, and creating thoughtful gifts for others. My love language is giving, and I love finding ways to make people feel special.

Being a part of AZEN means sisterhood, service, growth, and creating meaningful connections that last a lifetime.

With 25 years of marital experience and eight children, along with two adult step-children, I've learned that genuine fulfillment stems from empowering others. Each day begins with prayer, seeking guidance to uphold my values. As the creative mind behind Lillypad Crazy Designs and co-founder of A Special Affair by Lisa, I derive immense satisfaction from crafting with meticulous attention to detail and love. After residing in Fort Mitchell, Alabama for 13 years, I'm in honored to hold this position and dedicated to spreading kindness.
